I totally agree the government needs to seize all wiretappings that have no warrants. I know the governments trying to stop terrorism, but i also think if they want to tap the phones they should only tap the persons of interest. I also agree that the government should spend more money to find another route that doesn't violate certain rights of people. The only thing i actually agree that the government is doing, providing more surveillance is also an effective way and i don't really mind with more cameras because it also helps with other crimes.
This is a great blog and is also a great topic that can go on forever.

Lets get back on track
President- elect Barack Obama new money advisers going to him stay at a good direction. But i believe that he pick a good staff that's going leed him in the right direction. but we will see about that when he goes in to office as well as his staff.
Lots of people want to know how much is it exactly going to cost to get this country back on track. he was asked this question at one press conference but Obama refused to answer because he didn't exactly know either. but some estimate over one trillion dollars. now with the 700 hundred billion dollar bailout, it doesn't even seem like its even helping the economy and they barley even started spending it.i still see stock low and local business shutting down. for example General Motors is in danger of going bankrupt, which is really bad because GM employs over one million jobs.
In my opinion i kind of want the government to bail out companies like that because i feel bad because all of those people are going to be jobless and maybe become homeless, but on the other hand i want them to learn the hard way so they wont make the same mistake later on.
In conclusion the government needs to bailout all of the companies that are in danger of going bankrupt. the government also needs to help the ones that lost there job even more to help them get back on there feet. but finally its all going to come down to Barack Obama and also the people because he cant do this alone.

Totally Agree...
I totally agree that we need a change; I also agree that George bush hasn’t done anything because I haven’t really seen anything done that would help me or my family. But I really think our health care issues should be the first thing on Obama’s to do list. This country shouldn’t be letting people die because they don’t have enough money or insurance doesn’t cover that kind of treatment. I had a couple of relatives that passed away because of that. But anyways the war in Iraq will probably never be over, but I wish it could be over by tomorrow because it would save this country trillions of dollars, which could be spent on better things to help this country.

Let's Have A Better Healthcare System!
Healthcare is one the major issues today. We need to have a better healthcare system because the one we have now is not acceptable to our U.S. citizens. They need to fix the pre existing medical problems, for example a small kid comes into a new insurance company and the little boy has cancer and the insurance company denies him, because that was a pre existing problem. It should not be like that, the government should make a law to stop the insurance companies from doing this. Citizens also shouldn’t be traveling thousands of miles just to get cheaper healthcare, such as surgeries and etc. now that’s really unacceptable it shouldn’t be like that everybody in this country should have healthcare, they should make it cheap enough where everybody in the U.S. could afford it. Over 6 million Texans are without healthcare. Also the elderly need help to they need to have more coverage on their medications, there also should be no limits on prescription fill they can have in one month, as long as it’s needed. We need to keep our priorities straight for are elderly in medical and also social security. Now I know there’s not a lot of our generation to help pay these elderly citizens. So the government needs to step in and help the elderly a lot more, because these $700 dollar checks aren’t enough for them to live off of, because some of them have their house to pay and other things and those checks aren’t just enough to live on.
Now the next president needs to address all of these topics. However he needs to change things up and make a better healthcare and also to have more care for our elderly.

Obama Is Deemed 'Unqualified' By Americans
Is Obama ready for president? Many Americans asked that question every day. Why? One is probably because of his age, and personally for the second one I think because of his race. On the NRO “the campaign spot” one blogger mentions that one of our past presidents was in somewhat the same position as Obama in being deemed Unqualified. Ronald Reagan was being portrayed as this Hollywood star. The polls listed that about half of the Americans don’t think Obama is ready to be president; But Obama isn’t the first to be deemed like this. Michael Dukakis is number one after doing poorly on two debates.
I believe this blog creates a great argument about, if Obama is actually ready. Well I’m kind of half and half. I think he would do good, but on the other half I think the inexperience part will come in and he most likely get stuck. But everybody gets stuck and messes up time to time. I mean come on we’re humans. But I also think that the Americans voting on these polls are just voting he’s not ready just because of his skin color. Now I believe that if he was white everybody would probably be voting for him and not against him. But that’s just my opinion.
The authors intended Audience is to the voters. He really didn’t have an argument but he set up his editorial to have an argument about the topic he was talking about. The polls came from the Washington post which is an ok polling place.
But overall I think this is a great way to debate about a president’s age and history. But I also I think we all need to look past religion and skin color.

Bailout Handouts
Well I found an editorial called Bailout Handouts. When bush first introduced the bailout it got denied by congress by a few votes. But then the bill was rewritten and some perks were added along with it. With the new bill some of the perks are just senseless. For example there putting "elimination on excise taxes on wooden arrows for children." I mean that’s just crazy. On some of the comments with this article one person said “Not to pass the Senate version is to wait for a perfect bill while we're watching lifetime savings vanish.” With this, it’s not hurting just banks but hurting the people. Some of the citizens of the U.S. could be in danger in losing their retirement and etc., as one person stated. But this editorial shows a great way to argue about this bill with the facts he’s providing. While also reading more comments it seems that there are a lot of angry citizens, that aren’t too happy about this bill. Also no matter the Treasury Department will buy some of the distressed assets. The author also believes that “lawmakers should be voting with or without handouts.”
I actually agree with what he’s saying. I believe that the government should help them a little bit but I don’t think they should buy every bad asset. I believe they should just sell that mortgage at a low price and just take what you get. But I also like some of the new perks but not all. His intended audience would be everybody.

Obama's $66 Million Month?
Sixty-six million made in a month by Obama sounds like a lot, but not enough if Obama wants to keep up with McCain. McCain made roughly Three Hundred million to spend before Nov. 4th. This is a big leap as for being set money wise. While Obama is working so hard to raise money to keep his campaigns going. This fault causes him to have less time with the public and to persuade them on why he should be elected. To hear more on this Article Check out Newsweek.
I chose this article because it shows how Obama works hard to raise money, and also shows how he keeps campaigning with the money he has.
